We, at Hitched In GJ love St. Patty’s Day! It may be because we love food, or green beer, or potatoes…or the fact that we’re Murphy’s! Whatever the reason we don’t want you to be intimidated to make your new hubby or wiferpie some delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage!

1lb bag of baby carrots
6 red potatoes, quartered
1 yellow onion, peeled and diced
4 cups water
1 corned beef brisket with spice packet
1/2 beer (the other half is for you!)
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
Place everything in the slow cooker, cover, and set the cooker on Low. Cook the brisket for about 8 hours. Bada-boom, bada-bing! Done! Serve with some Green Beer and Soda Bread…and if you mess it up, no worries, just drink more green beer!
